Have you ever put herbs or garlic powder or anything like that in the tortillas dough?
Hi Susan,
I haven’t, but I think that’s a marvelous idea!
Have you ever made a big batch and refrigerated or frozen these?
@Anna, I haven’t, but that’s mainly because I’m not very patient with rolling out the flour tortillas. I would probably opt for freeze over refrigerating. If you do freeze them, I would put a layer of plastic wrap or parchment paper between each tortilla to prevent sticking and then put all of them into a good freezer bag. Then you could pull out exactly how many you needed. I wouldn’t think that they’d take long to thaw either.
A really easy way to break up the butter is to use a cheese grater! It keeps the heat from your hands from starting it to melt and makes really consistent sized pieces.
